Ingredients:
For Paneer Tikka:
- 200 grams paneer (cubed)
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 2 tablespoons Abhiruchi Paneer Tikka Masala
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Salt to taste
- 1 onion (cut into chunks)
- 1 green bell pepper (cut into chunks)
- 1 red bell pepper (cut into chunks)
For Gravy:
- 2 tablespoons oil or ghee
- 2 medium onions (finely chopped)
- 2 tomatoes (pureed)
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder (optional, adjust to taste)
- 1/2 cup fresh cream
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 2 tablespoons Abhiruchi Paneer Tikka Masala
- 1/2 cup water (adjust as needed)
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves (for garnish)
Instructions:
For Paneer Tikka:
- Marinate the Paneer:
- In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, Abhiruchi Paneer Tikka Masala, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, oil, and salt.
- Add the paneer cubes, onion chunks, and bell pepper chunks. Mix gently to coat everything with the marinade.
- Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes (longer is better, ideally 1-2 hours).
- Grill the Paneer:
- Preheat a grill or oven to 200°C (392°F).
- Thread the marinated paneer, onions, and bell peppers onto skewers.
- Grill the skewers for about 10-15 minutes or until the paneer and vegetables are slightly charred. Turn occasionally for even cooking.
- Alternatively, you can pan-fry the marinated paneer and vegetables in a little oil until golden brown.
For Gravy:
- Prepare the Gravy:
- Heat oil or ghee in a pan over medium heat.
- Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- Add finely chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another 2-3 minutes.
- Add tomato puree and cook until the oil starts to separate from the masala.
- Add Spices:
- Add turmeric powder, red chili powder (if using), and Abhiruchi Paneer Tikka Masala. Mix well and cook for a few minutes until the spices are well incorporated.
- Simmer the Gravy:
- Add water to the pan and bring it to a gentle boil. Adjust the consistency as needed.
- Add salt to taste and let the gravy simmer for about 5-7 minutes.
- Finish the Dish:
- Add the grilled paneer, onions, and bell peppers to the gravy.
- Stir in fresh cream and garam masala. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish and Serve:
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with naan, roti, or steamed rice.
