Delicious Restaurant Style Paneer Tikka Masala

Ingredients:

For Paneer Tikka:

  • 200 grams paneer (cubed)
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons Abhiruchi Paneer Tikka Masala
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 onion (cut into chunks)
  • 1 green bell pepper (cut into chunks)
  • 1 red bell pepper (cut into chunks)

For Gravy:

  • 2 tablespoons oil or ghee
  • 2 medium onions (finely chopped)
  • 2 tomatoes (pureed)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder (optional, adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 cup fresh cream
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 2 tablespoons Abhiruchi Paneer Tikka Masala
  • 1/2 cup water (adjust as needed)
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves (for garnish)

Instructions:

For Paneer Tikka:

  1. Marinate the Paneer:
  • In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, Abhiruchi Paneer Tikka Masala, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, oil, and salt.
  • Add the paneer cubes, onion chunks, and bell pepper chunks. Mix gently to coat everything with the marinade.
  • Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes (longer is better, ideally 1-2 hours).
  1. Grill the Paneer:
  • Preheat a grill or oven to 200°C (392°F).
  • Thread the marinated paneer, onions, and bell peppers onto skewers.
  • Grill the skewers for about 10-15 minutes or until the paneer and vegetables are slightly charred. Turn occasionally for even cooking.
  • Alternatively, you can pan-fry the marinated paneer and vegetables in a little oil until golden brown.

For Gravy:

  1. Prepare the Gravy:
  • Heat oil or ghee in a pan over medium heat.
  • Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  • Add finely chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Add tomato puree and cook until the oil starts to separate from the masala.
  1. Add Spices:
  • Add turmeric powder, red chili powder (if using), and Abhiruchi Paneer Tikka Masala. Mix well and cook for a few minutes until the spices are well incorporated.
  1. Simmer the Gravy:
  • Add water to the pan and bring it to a gentle boil. Adjust the consistency as needed.
  • Add salt to taste and let the gravy simmer for about 5-7 minutes.
  1. Finish the Dish:
  • Add the grilled paneer, onions, and bell peppers to the gravy.
  • Stir in fresh cream and garam masala. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  1. Garnish and Serve:
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with naan, roti, or steamed rice.
